As part of the master plan of new development in downtown Montreal, this 36 story tower is set to add to the growing character of the
city. The aim is to reinterprate the canonical metropolitan object by both exaggerating and breaking away from conventional
aesthetic tropes of the modern tower as a vertical glass extrusion. Through the combination of a striated black and white pattern
disrupted by a diagrid, we devised a dynamic addition to the city of Montreal, giving an identity to the site that drifts from a conventional aesthetic, and translates to a varience of units and volumes.
