The project is a proposal to transform the old Shriner Hospital into a contemporary residential object overlooking downtown Montreal. The overarching idea is to bonify the existing site using the existing buildng as three-dimensional boundary to insert a successor. This six storey project is conceived as a contemporary estrangement of more conventional architectural features found in buildings' materiality and articulation trhoughout the city.
